Bob Farrell - Senior Warden Bob has been a member of St. Luke's for four years. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church in Massachusetts. A native of Massachusetts, Bob has lived in Georgia since 1992 and has been a resident of Effingham County since 2000. He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and works for Gulfstream Aerospace. Prior to becoming Senior Warden, Bob served St. Luke's as treasurer. He teaches Sunday School and also serves as Co-Director of the Crossfire Youth Group. Bob and his wife of 12 years, Gina, have two daughters, Aerin, 10 and Delaney, 7.
Mary Ann Callaway - Mary Ann has been a member of St. Luke’s for three years. She was previously Catholic, and served on many committees within the Catholic Church. She has served as usher, lector, and intercessor at St. Luke’s, and is also a member of the choir. Mary Ann and Roy have been married 30 years, and have lived in
Jane Greever - Jane has been a member of St. Luke's since 2004 when she and Joe moved to Savannah from Senatobia, MS. Jane and Joe are retired college chemistry professors and have been married 45 years. They have one daughter, Grace, and 2 granddaughters. Jane was confirmed at Calvary Episcopal Church in 1983 in Cleveland, MS, and served on the vestry at three Episcopal churches in Mississippi. She also serves as a lay eucharistic minister and lector at St. Luke's.
Helen Hyde - Helen is a life-long Episcopalian from Jacksonville, FL. She and her husband Eddie have been married 18 years and have one daughter, Hannah. Helen currently works as a para-professional at
Cheryl Ferguson - Cheryl has been a member of St. Lukes since 2004, and was baptized in St. Boniface when it was the temporary home for St. Lukes. Cheryl and Doug, both consult/contractors, have been married 15 years and have lived in Rincon since 2001. They have 5 adult children and 5 grandchildren. She earned a B.S in adult education from Southern Illinois University in 1991, an M.A. in management and human resource development from Webster University (St. Louis) in 1993, and a Doctorate in Adult Education from Nova Southeastern University (Ft. Lauderdale) in 2001. She has authored and co-authored seven textbooks in risk management and insurance.
Janet Sheridan - Janet was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist Church. She was then confirmed in the Episcopal Church in 1976 by her to-be-father-in-law, Rt. Rev. William Sheridan, one month before her marriage to Peter. They were married in the same church in Plymouth, Indiana where Peter’s father had served as priest for 28 years. Janet has attended Episcopal churches both large and small in Memphis, Tennessee, Omaha, Nebraska, and Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. She served on the vestry, taught Sunday school, and was active in women’s groups. She moved to her new home state of Georgia in August, 2010, joining Peter who had preceded her to the area three months earlier, and felt warmly accepted by the St. Luke’s family upon her arrival. Janet and Peter are the proud parents of two grown daughters who both reside in Nashville. Janet is a Social Worker at Fresenius Coastal Dialysis in Savannah.
Zach Blalock - Zach has been a member of St. Luke's for 6 years, starting out in the Crossfire Youth Group in 2005 and attending his first church service in 2006. He has been a member of the church's choir since his first day. On Easter Sunday 2007, Zach was baptized and confirmed by Bishop Henry Loutit. Zach is a graduate of South Effingham High School and currently enrolled at Armstrong Atlantic State University, pursuing a History degree. He currently works at Monkey Joe's of Savannah as a party host and team member.
