We begin the season of Lent this Ash Wednesday, February 22nd. We will have the blessed ashes imposed on our foreheads at our Wednesday evening Eucharist. Lent is a time for each of us to go to the desert to pray and fast, just as Jesus did. May these 40 days of Lent be a time of reflection and renewal.
Fr. Liam’s weekly schedule at St. Luke’s is the following: Tuesday afternoons, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. If you need to contact Fr. Liam,

Our Wednesday Morning Needlepoint Group meets each Wednesday at 11:00. Please bring a sack lunch and enjoy this time of fellowship and creativity.
Our Wednesday Afternoon Bible Study meets each Wednesday at 1:30 to study the scriptures for the following Sunday. Please join us for this time of reflection and fellowship.
Our Wednesday Evening Eucharist and Healing Service begins at 6:00. Please join us for this time of prayer and healing.
This week Our Wednesday night study group will continue their study on Psalm 23 “The Good Shepherd”. Please join us for this time of reflection and fellowship.

Our Crossfire Youth will meet this Wednesday from 6:30-8:30. All youth in grades 6-12 are invited. Dinner begins at 6:30. See you Wednesday.

Fr. Liam will continue his Inquirers Class this morning following coffee hour. The class is especially designed for anyone interested in being confirmed, being received into the Episcopal Church, or pursuing a deeper understanding of the Episcopal Faith.
Please mark your calendars for this coming Sunday, February 26th. Bishop Scott Benhase will make his annual visit to St. Luke’s to minister the sacrament of Confirmation. We hope everyone will be able to attend to welcome Bishop Benhase and celebrate with our newly confirmed. A reception will follow in the Ashley Center.
